BACKGROUND

This man is clad in simple looking robes, with various pouches and a sling hanging from his belt, leaning on a quarterstaff. A black raven is sitting on his left shoulder. Someone learned enough could easily identify markings of the order of the Shining Hand and the Cloakwizards from his clothing.

This half-elf makes it no secret, that his mother was charmed by a wandering elven bard. The man had left the next day with a pile of valuables from the village, never to be seen again.
After the death of his mother he decided to leave the village to find his father, but soon realized that he might not live long enough to find him. It is clear that he dislikes elves and their commonly chaotic nature.

After studying magics and spending time as a monk of the Shining Hand, he has searched the world for more forgotten, sometimes forbidden lore. This has started to show, as his aging has not affected him as much as it should have, but he also seems to hide his left hand for some reason.

He has traveled long and sought depths and crypts never walked by living beings in centuries. One of his latest acquisitions and artifacts for his research is a Phylactery of a half lich who attempted to become a Baelnorn and failed.
