BACKGROUND

Raven Coldsteel was an orphan who was adopted by a helmite monastery. He grew up learning the tenets of Helm and hard martial training.

Nothing of his origin is known, his name was given to him for his raven black hair and icy calmness and effectiveness in battle.

Now he travels as a guard for hire, seeking ways to improve his skills in battle and protect and provide order for those who can afford to pay.

He heard about the plague in Neverwinter and headed up to offer his services for the city.

With the guidance of a paladin of Helm named Pailmar and a half-orc ranger called Barbag Raven's view of the world has been changed. With hard training Raven is becoming a more skilled fighter and he has taught his body to resist cold.
