BACKGROUND
Quanten was a loved child born to a woman who moved with his elven father to the forest kingdom of his forefathers.
Quanten had plenty of friends among the elven children, who just seemed to mature a little too slow for him. He had weapons training among the elves and learned to hunt their most common enemies like orcs. He even learned to use orcish weapons like the double-axe against their creators.

After he realized that his elven friends would take a life time for him to mature to his level, he left the elves and joined a group of lycanthrope hunting rangers who were visiting the elven city. He learned more about hunting these werecreatures, but also to respect those who stayed good in the light of Selüne.

After fighting agains a large army of evil creatures in the Spine of the World he found himself almost dead, but transferred to a strange peaceful location. This was where his true adventures begun.

At first he escaped the harsh environment to a seemingly peaceful village, where he gained money by collecting berries while staying in shadows and evading dangers too tough for him. He managed to meet a peaceful starving tribe of orcs and managed to make a trading deal with them. As a reward he got a discount price for a house little away from the village.
Little did he know that owning the house gave him a blessing of Tyr, raising his wisdom by 2 permanently because of touching a relic found in the basement.

As learned new skills he started to help other people in the village and hunting lycanthropes that plagued a silvermine not so far from the village. In the process his silver longsword proved to be not enough, as he got bit from a pack leader an found himself with the taint. Fortunately Selûne approves his condition, but he has found it bot a blessing and a curse. Every night a transformation comes over him, raising his strength, dexterity and constitution, and granting him a great protection from non-magical weapons, but when close to other people sometimes great blood lust comes over him causing him to berserk. The tain from the call of Malar, lord of the beasts is too great. Quanten is seeking a way to cure his condition. Meanwhile by day he visits his friend and neighbors and by night he hunts, using the wereform to kill evil creatures that endanger the peace of the village.

After killing a great tribe of goblins in his wereform, he decided to seek a cure. He had heard rumors that a cleric of Seûne would be wandering about, but after a search of a few days he knew he would never succeed. By a lucky incident he found a bush of belladonna which he used to cure his condition.

As he performed a great favor to a local priest of Tempus and the local druid grove, he has gained many magical items that help him in his adventures.
His boots were made of the skins of a winter wolf that tried to kill Quanten while in the wilds. He is specially fond of his longsword, which he found from remains of a band of robbers, who he slayed while a berserkish fit in the were-form.
After slaying a white dragon with his dark elf henchman he gained a powerful ring of protection and scales that were forged into a great scalemail. He seldomly wears it, prefering his light wolfhide armor, which gives him protection agains werebeasts. He usually wields his silver weapons, made by the smith of Silbran.

In his journeys spent in his wereform Quanten met an intelligent dire rat named Smane, who became his animal companion. His other animal companion that usually guards his home is a half winter wolf called Spark, who was spending time in a camp of orcs.

He met his dark elven friend, Brakk Ma Tok in a local taver and therefore didn't attack him at first sight, thinking that people knew the fellow and was not a threat. When chatting with him he learned that the drow was an orpahn, who was fostered by the unusually calm tribe orcs.

After visiting the first layer of the Nine Hells and saving a local temple of Helm from villains, Quanten recapped some skills he used to slay the white dragon he encountered before, for another had been seen in the neighborhood. A drow assassin proved to be a tougher opponent than any dragon ever was, but could be handled with the combined might of a half-elven ranger, his trusty rat companion and the fierce drow barbarian.

Quantens human blood caused him to sway from chaotic tendencies to more neutral, as his wedding approached. Fortunately everyting went well and Quanten stayed as a protector of the wilds and a honored member of the society in the small village of Silbran.
With time his learned skills of defense and gained blessing of wisdom faded away.
