Haran is a dwarf from the mining city of Mirabar, where he has two loving parents, Rena and Iiro Marblefire. Currently Haran doesn't have any siblings. The family of Marblefire is well known for their well crafted beatiful jewelry and they have stayed in Mirabar for centuries.
Several years Haran trained hard to become a good smith like his parents. But also, he found himself more and more reading and learning the ways of fighting. He was teached to read by a priest of Haela Brightaxe and was raised with stories of great battles by this same dwarf. Not surprisingly, Halan was soon a trained cleric of Haela Brightaxe and always ready to defend his home from foul enemies.
After becoming a fully qualified cleric Haran left Mirabar to see more of this world he lives in. He sold his valuables and left Mirabar to make a journey to Waterdeep - the city of wonders. The journey was long and he met a lot of different people who accompanied him for some time.
Luckily, Halan finally arrived to Waterdeep where he worked as an apprentice for one of the local blacksmiths. The name of the blacksmith was Gava Redpick and he was also a shield dwarf like Halan. Gava had a daughter named Rina Redpick. She had long fuzzy brown hair, blue eyes and lovely voice and she worked in smithy selling their masterwork weaponry with his mother to the nobles of Waterdeep. During his days working, Halan fell in love with this brown-haired beauty and confessed his love in somewhat romantic dwarven way.
And so Halan and Rina were engaged. However, Halan had the spirit of a fighter in him and wanted to feel the joy of battle again. So he left Waterdeep with Rina, always worrying her safety on the road. |
